Become a Member of Roy and Cher's Animal Rescue Team!

We welcome volunteers of all ages!

Please fill out the form if you are interested in the following positions:

1. Social Media  (Linkedin, Threads, Instagram, YouTube, website updates)
2. Administration (Database updates, spreadsheets. assisting with documents - Basic knowledge of French is required for this role)
3. Adoptions Coordinator
4. Administration (Assist the Executive Director, respond to and organize emails)

At times we are in need of volunteers for:

Horse Care:
We currently need volunteers who have some experience with horses. Volunteers will be required to groom our horses at least once a week. Must be comfortable handling horses who can be skittish and nervous with patience and compassion. -- ALL HORSE CARE POSITIONS FILLED

Fundraising Gurus:
Anyone who is personable and knowledgeable with fundraising tactics. Someone who can go behind local donations and GoFundMe.com
and seek out government funding and apply for corporate sponsorships and target celebrities and foundations.

Fosters:
Love kittens? We urgently need volunteers who can temporarily foster kittens (for at least 3 weeks). The ideal foster would have a separate room in their home for the kittens only. The kittens cannot interact with any other animal in the house. Volunteers would be required to play with the kittens for a few hours every day. Volunteers would also need to get the kittens used to human touch. This would consist of petting, holding, playing with their feet and also trimming their claws. We will provide litter, food and toys. You would provide a litter box, and food and water bowls. Fosters need to be located in Glengarry, Stormont, south or east of Ottawa, Ontario or near St. Zotique, Quebec.

Transportation:
Fosters needed to transport animals to and from vet appointments. Our vet is located in St. Zotique, Quebec. Animals are in foster homes in Cornwall and Lancaster, Ontario and Dalhousie Mills, Quebec.

Students:
We are able to provide letters for students who require volunteer hours for school.

Online Research:
We always need volunteers to assist with research projects for our education programs. Must have academic research experience.
